Our annual Kiwanis Corporate Regatta is scheduled for lunchtime Monday, August 16 at the Columbus Metropolitan Library on South Grant Street.

This fun-filled actvity gives companies an opportunity to race their designated yachts across a small swimming pool using nothing but a super-soaker water gun.  "It's a great event and easy way for a company to get involved in their community" said Mike Haemmerle, one of the co-chairs of this year's event.  The entry fee is again $500 per yacht and there are several categories of corporate sponsorships available for those companies and organizations looking for additional recognition.

The attached flier (click here) has details regarding our sponsorship opportunities and participation levels.  Any company, organization, individual or group of individuals are eligble to compete for the $1,000 prize to the charity of their choice.  Click here for a short video about the event.

2010 Kiwanis College Fair

What do you call more than 150 college campus representatives gathered at the same time in one location?  It's the annual Kiwanis College Fair, of course! 

This year's event is scheduled for Monday, September 27 and it will again be held in the North Hall of the Veteran's Memorial Auditorium located on West Broad Street.   We expect more than 3,000 students from Columbus and surrounding areas to visit this one-day event that will have a morning session running from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and an evening session running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

High School counselors will be receiving information at the beginning of the school year with more specific details regarding how to schedule their students to attend.  Colleges can sign up for their table(s) between now and September 3, 2010.  Please click on the "Major Events" tab to the left for additional information.
