2009 Corporate Regatta to set sail ... The 2009 Corporate Regatta is scheduled to set sail on Monday, August 17 at 11:30 a.m. on the front steps of the Columbus Metropolitan Library located on Grant Street. The event is open to the public, with companies from throughout central Ohio competing for the honor of being this year's winner.
There is still time for you, your company, association, organization or group to enter the event. Details can be found in the attached entry form (click here). All proceeds will go to the Columbus Kiwanis Foundation and will in part benefit the award-winning Summer Reading Program of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
30th Annual
Columbus Kiwanis College Fair ...
The 2009 Columbus Kiwanis College Fair is scheduled for Monday, October 5, at the Veterans Memorial Hall on West Broad Street. This will be the 30th consecutive year for this outstanding event. High School students from the Columbus City Schools and the surrounding area will come out in force to meet with representatives of over 150 colleges and Universities. Special programs will also be available for parents during the evening sessions. Last year, over 3,500 students attended.
